One of my favourite logo designs

"I need a logo for a leak detection business I'm starting up" were the words I received from a relative. I actually love designing for family. I can be a bit more out there with my ideas and feel I have a bit more freedom with my designs.

Basic brief was:

Capture the water/leak aspect

Incorporate the colours from the thermal imaging camera that is used in detecting leaks

The idea came quite quickly. A water drop in a mosaic style using purples, pinks, oranges and yellows, and white to highlight. And as a Perth based business, we created the droplet to resemble the shape of Western Australia, paying homage to our great state.
